Take Control of Your Health with the Newly Updated NHS App

NHS App on mobile phone

Are you looking for a faster, simpler way to manage your healthcare? The NHS App is your digital front door to the NHS, allowing you to securely access a range of health services from your smartphone, tablet, or computer—24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We’ve Had an Update!

The NHS App has recently been updated to make it simpler and easier to use than ever before. If you already have the app, make sure you update it via your app store to continue using it and to see the new layout.

Here is what’s new:

  • Simpler Navigation: The updated app now features three main, easy-to-use areas: Home, Messages, and Profile. You can move between these areas quickly using the app menu bar.
  • A Clearer Home Screen: Your services and health information are now grouped together in clearer categories right on the new home screen.
  • Everything in One Place: While there is no longer a single “GP health record” section, rest assured all your information is still there. You can now easily find exactly what you need by selecting direct options for prescriptions, appointments, test results, vaccinations, health conditions, and documents.
  • Updated Profile Area: In your profile, you can view your NHS number, update your personal details or health choices, and manage health services for family members or people you care for (proxy access).
