The Practice Manager manages all of the business aspects of the Practice such as making sure that the right systems and the right people are in place, at the right time, in order to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises, equipment and IT (information technology). The Practice Manager supports the Admin Team, GPs and other medical professionals to deliver patient services and also helps to develop extended services, enhancing patient experience and care.
Secretarial Staff
Our Secretary team handle referral letters, process clinical correspondence, and support our GPs and nurses by organising documentation, coding clinical records and ensuring follow-ups are booked appropriately. They work alongside the admin and reception staff to ensure a seamless flow of information, helping clinicians to focus entirely on patient care.
Reception/Admin Staff
Our Reception and Admin team are your first point of contact, whether by phone or in person. They coordinate appointments, manage patient enquiries, assist with insurance and benefit-agency forms, capture essential information to direct you to the most appropriate clinician, and assist with the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Dispensary Staff
Our Dispensary team deliver an integral part of practice-based care. For eligible patients, the dispensary ensures repeat prescriptions are ready for collection, and supports safe and accurate medication provision. Their role underpins the seamless connection between prescription, dispensing and safe medicine use.
The Surgery’s staff have a very demanding role. They are there to assist you and we would ask you to be patient during peak times, when the staff have to handle a large volume of calls and enquiries. They will ask you a small amount of personal information about your medical condition – this information is used to ensure your call is dealt with by the correct Clinician and assist fellow Healthcare Professionals who work within the Practice to manage your healthcare and well-being. Their work supports safe, timely and efficient patient access and care.
